OUR HISTORY
Allan and Dave Cook founded Alcon Construction in 1974 as Alamosa Concrete with a vision of building relationships in the San Luis Valley and surrounding areas through project services and delivering on commitments. The Cook Family has a history of instilled culture of exceeding client expectations throughout our region since the family arrived in Colorado in 1969.
In 1980 Alcon Construction was incorporated in the State of Colorado, Dave Cook as President, Georgia Cook as Vice-President and Allan Cook as Secretary/Treasurer. The Cook’s believe in hard work and turning out a complete, well-built product for their customers.
Today, Alcon Construction, still a family owned and operated corporation with a healthy resume of satisfied customers, completed projects ranging from $1,000 to over $1.5 million; over 90% of which comes from repeat clients.
The company headquarters remain in Alamosa Colorado. Our project experience spans throughout the Western States primarily the San Luis Valley in Colorado, and we are invested in the communities in which we work.
